Mr. Byrnes holds a bachelor of science from Washington & Jefferson College, and is actively involved in various professional organizations. He is a member of the National Confectioners Association Supplier Board, Retail Bakers of America, and the International Food Technologist community.

Aaron G. Byrnes is also certified by the American Institute of Baking and has contributed to industry publications and events, including Bake Magazine and the Western Candy Conference. Outside of his work, he enjoys outdoor activities like skiing and golf, while his travels have taken him to destinations like Bali, Greece, and Kenya. In addition, Mr. Byrnes is interested in the arts, theater, fine dining, and fantasy sports, particularly NBA, NFL, and MLB, and participates in charitable activities in Orange County, California.
